This educational programme focuses on the fascinating world of materials that make up our surroundings. Together with the pupils, we will explore the difference between raw materials that have existed since time immemorial and were created by nature itself, and materials produced by humans. Together, we will discover that materials do not remain the same forever, but are constantly changing their form – they can melt, harden, crumble or combine in unexpected ways. We will be inspired by an exhibition by Radka Částková and Magdalena Šimurdová, which shows pupils that even ordinary concrete, glass, tin or wax harbour their own stories. The programme includes an art workshop that flows seamlessly from the exhibition.
