Is it possible to grow indefinitely on a planet with limited resources? The Solidarities exhibition brings together contemporary art, biology and technology. We will explore living, glowing bioreactors containing microalgae, which are growing right here in the gallery and create a sound installation as they bubble. We will discover that in nature, it is not the strongest that prevail, but those who can cooperate best – just like the algae that shaped our planet billions of years ago and without which we would have no oxygen.
