Jakub Janovský graduated from the drawing studio of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. He often expresses himself across artistic media; his main focus is hanging painting, sculpture, installation and interventional drawing. In his work, he deals mainly with the theme of collective memory that characterises the generation born at the end of the last century. His work is represented in several public and private institutions at home and abroad.
