Jana Babincová (born 1977) is an intermedia artist, painter, educator, and mentor. Her work explores the principles of coding, synesthesia, and rhythm, transforming music, language, and movement into visual forms, often through site-specific installations and intermedia scores. She studied at the Faculty of Education at Palacký University in Olomouc and the Faculty of Fine Arts at Brno University of Technology, focusing on painting and intermedia. Her works have been exhibited in numerous galleries across the Czech Republic (e.g., NTK Gallery, MeetFactory, Emil Filla Gallery) as well as internationally, including in the USA and the Netherlands. She is represented in prominent private and public collections, such as Jiří Valoch’s Collection at the National Gallery Prague and the Marek Collection.
