Ken Nash is an American artist, writer, and animator whose work has been deeply shaped by the
cultural landscape of Prague, Czech Republic. Originally from Hudson, Massachusetts, and
raised in Troy, Michigan, Nash first made his mark in Prague in the early 1990s as an illustrator
and cartoonist, contributing a weekly comic to The Prague Post and publishing Prague on 13
Beers a Day.
Beyond illustration and animation, Nash is also a passionate advocate for figure drawing. He
runs Prague Life Drawing, a group that has offered life drawing sessions in the city for over 20
years, fostering a creative space for artists of all levels.
As a member of Prague Urban Sketchers, Nash brings the city to life with expressive mixed-
media drawings, capturing its evolving architecture and street scenes. Blending humor,
observation, and storytelling, his art offers a vibrant and personal perspective on the world
around him.
