Zachytit nit

The exhibition is a conscious alternative to the ruthless competition for attention that takes place today in everyday offline and online space, and which is also characteristic of the contemporary art scene. The artists try to free themselves from this pressure and choose their own rules for their artistic practice — their work is based on focused engagement with material, on haptic experience, and on precision of craft. They draw their confidence not from external pressure, but from inner stability and keen observation.

Through symbols, layering, and absence, Stanislava touches on themes of power, fear, and care. In her hushed figures, Aleksandrina moves toward peace, which she understands not as a state but as an orientation.

Yet neither of them seeks her fixed point in escaping the world — on the contrary, they find it in an attentive gaze at human society, at the unpretentious nature of everyday events, and at the cycle of growth and decay. For them, Zachytit nit does not mean escape, but a decision to connect to the real flow of life. Both the spatial installation and the audience itself are invited to this act of catching the thread. The exhibition explains nothing: instead, it creates a space where one can slow down, hold one’s gaze, and fully experience the present moment.
